This exhibition offers a sensitive exploration of Korean tea culture and contemporary Korean craftsmanship.

It brings together works and practices from several disciplines: ceramics, glass, wood, bamboo, tea, tea-based cuisine and kintsugi.

Conceived as a landscape to be inhabited, the exhibition does not simply present objects.

It invites us to encounter presences, materials, uses and silences.

Each piece carries within it a memory: that of the hand that shapes, of the fire that transforms, of the water that reveals, of the wood that preserves its veins, of the glass that welcomes the light, of the bamboo that recalls the suppleness of life.

Through the works and practices of Seongil Hong, Eunju Kim, Hyeyoon Kim, Minjeong Son, Wanjun Kim, Boeun Lim and Jihyun Kim, the exhibition explores how contemporary Korean craftsmanship engages with an ancient tea culture, without ever freezing it.
