The Inner Gardens: Tea as the art of slowing down

The urban retreats " Les Jardins intérieurs" are a space where each cup becomes a piece of oneself to cultivate.

We often live our lives in a rush: from appointments to obligations, from waiting to distractions.
We move forward without always knowing where we are going ; and in this headlong rush, we sometimes lose ourselves.

Alma's interior gardens invite you to pause. To suspend movement in order to relearn how to breathe, feel, and listen. To rediscover the flavor of just the right amount of time, neither too fast nor too late.

These urban retreats are for those who wish to slow down without escaping the world, finding in the act of drinking tea a space of presence and meaning .
Tea then becomes a mirror of life: it infuses at its own pace , reveals what is offered to it, invites listening and patience.

Through experiences combining mindful tea , sensory exploration , guided breathing , symbolic practices and maieutic dialogues , each encounter opens a territory of self: a garden to cultivate, to soothe, to illuminate.

The Inner Gardens are led by María Kockmann , tea sommelier, curator of Alma Tea Gallery and certified Maieutics coach. She offers a sensitive approach to tea as an art of presence and self-knowledge, blending mindful tasting, introspection and inner dialogue.

Gardens to explore

Each urban retreat is a step on this inner journey, an invitation to cultivate a different part of oneself.

  1. Roots – Slowing down to inhabit one's life
To find the ground beneath one's feet. To savor time, cup after cup.

  2. Clarity – Taming your thoughts, finding the light
Like water revealing a leaf, consciousness reveals our inner landscapes.

  3. Healing – Honoring one's wounds
Let the gentleness infuse where life has left its mark.

  4. Breath – The link and the presence
In the steam of tea, the encounter becomes an offering.

  5. Essence – Finding one's path, one's meaning, one's joy
When tea becomes a mirror, it reveals the beauty of our being.
